"De periode na 1950 kent tien, of meer, verdachten van die geconstateerde opwarming. Ze zijn bijna allemaal schuldig, een soort Moord in de Oriënt Expres, zoals beschreven door Agatha Christie. Er zijn natuurlijke oorzaken, zoals het natuurlijk broeikaseffect (vooral waterdamp en wolken), veranderingen in de zonnestraling, en oceaanstromingen zoals de El Niño’s. Er zijn vulkanen onder zee en ijs die veel warmte en chemische stoffen uitstoten. Een deel van de opwarming en verzuring van de oceanen kan hiermee worden verklaard. Er zijn ‘atmospheric brown clouds’ en er is roet en stof. En natuurlijk ook broeikasgassen. Ze werken samen en ze werken elkaar tegen. De uitkomst is een grilliger wordend weer en een steeds minder voorspelbaar wordend klimaat. Maar het is nog lang niet ‘catastrofaal’. En het is in het verleden nog vaak grilliger geweest."

There is no evidence, only speculation, that human emissions of greenhouse gases are overheating Earth. Ze geven een pagina met voorbeelden en sluiten af met: The climate conspirators are not reasonable people. They are modern-day Torquemadas, as fanatical and intolerant as the most cruel of the grand inquisitors of the Spanish Inquisition.
Maar volgens Ian Plimmer zijn het juist de groene beweging en klimaatalarmisten, die verantwoordelijk zijn voor onnoemelijk leed, armoede en sterven. En dat het juist die klimaat-bevlogenen zijn, die achter slot en grendel moeten eindigen, maar liever nog "in a cave in the bush enjoying the benefits of Net Zero".

Klimaatangst (Engl.: climate anxiety oftewel climatosis) wordt ironisch beschreven in een roman van Jon Pepper: "Missy's twitch".
In een uitgebreide video vertelt Pepper over de hoofdfiguren in zijn geestige en informatieve boek, over klimaatalarmisme en over "climate anxiety" of "climatose" een psychologische aandoening waaraan steeds meer mensen lijden, een aandoening aangewakkerd door media en politici. Velen zijn bang dat het einde van de wereld nabij is. Maar gelukkig zijn er psychotherapeuten om te helpen !
